Two former Super Eagles skippers Austin Okocha and Nwankwo Kanu, along with six other ex-internationals have all arrived in Port Harcourt for the Joseph Yobo’s testimonial game. The Arsenal legend breezed into the Presidential Hotel Port Harcourt hours after the former coaches; Amodu Shuiabu and Austin Eguavoen were joined by the sextet of Uche Okechukwu, Chukwu Ndukwe, Mutiu Adepoju, Sani Kaita, Ike Shorunmu, Ifeanyi Udeze at the hotel.
Yobo himself confirmed Kanu’s arrival in Port Harcourt in a tweet he posted.
‘My brother @papilokanu just arrived in Port Harcourt for 2016:#YoboTestimonial,” he tweeted.
The trio of Ahmed Musa, Godfrey Oboabona and Efe Ambrose were also spotted having a chat at the hotel reception.
Also Nigeria Football Federation vice President, Shehu Dikko and the Chairman Technical Committee Chris Green led a number of officials from the NFF to Port Harcourt for the event.
Meanwhile, Completesportsnigeria.com gathered from the organisers of the event that Chelsea skipper John Terry is still being expected in from the UK enroute Abuja.
