Some times back it was at Ekpoma University and now University of Port Harcourt, Rivers state where Unknown gunmen abducted a lecturer, Dr. Reginald Ohiri of the Department of Biochemistry. His family was contacted and the sum of 2 million naira was demanded as ransom for his release.
The incident was said to have taken place at his resident in Aluu community, Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State.Where the yet to be identified gunmen forced their way into Ohiri’s compound through the gate on Monday evening according to a source who told Vanguard.
