Reports say at least one death was recorded in the attack of the American University of Afghanistan (AUAF) that was attacked by suspected militants on Wednesday in an assault that started with a loud blast followed by gunfire.
according to Sediq Sediqi, the Spokesman for the ministry, said that the police had cordoned off the university and efforts were being made to get more details.
some of my friends and I escaped but several others, including visitors and professors were trapped inside. also, some of the professors were teaching when the attack rocked the institution”. as said by Ahmad Mukhtar, an Afghan journalist
Meanwhile, no group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
