The Vice-Chancellor of F.U.T. Akure Professor Adebiyi Daramola and the immediate past Director of the Centre for Continuing Education Professor Olaniyi Okunlola have been awarded with a Fellowship of the Institute in recognition of their outstanding performance in uplifting the education sector.
According to the Director General, Institute of Security Nigeria, Barrister Adebayo Akinade
the Vice-Chancellor deserves the award considering his past and present tract record and relationship with the Institute. Presenting the award on behalf of the Institute,
Speaking on the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by the Institute and the University, the Acting Director of Centre for Continuing Education, Dr. Joseph Basorun said FUTA will now be able to run and offer Certificate in Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Security operations and management with the Institute issuing the professional certificate.
“I thank the Board of Fellow of the institute for considering me worthy of this award and I promise to live up to fulfill the expectations of the Institute”
said the Vice-Chancellor who showed appreciation.
