A group of four students from different Departments Omojola Michael Temitope Gold Medal Overall best, Akinmade Mary Oluwabunmi Silver Medal Overall best female Mathematician, Ofe Seun Victor Silver Medal and Dike Desmond Ifeanyi Bronze Medal that represented FUTA in the Nigerian Universities Mathematics competition held in Abuja organized annually by the National Mathematical Centre and emerged overall best with 1 Gold, 2 Silver and 1 Bronze medal in all were at the Vice-Chancellor’s Office for the official presentation of their medals.
Led by Professor Sunday Kayode and his predecessor Professor Felix Alao.
The competition which recorded the participation of 60 Institutions with FUTA also producing the best Undergraduate student mathematician in Nigeria.
